Yesthe Nemo beacon developed by CLS has passed the MMO I-VMS type approval process in November 2021, by meeting the I-VMS
device specification of requirements. The NEMO beacon has undergone evaluation under the I-VMS approval process and is expected to last for at least five years provided they are handled appropriately. Our product has been designed in order to be suitable for vessels with or without on-board power.

After your purchase, you will be contacted by our local teams to arrange an appointment together for the beacon installation on your boat. There is no need for you to directly call an installer or try to assemble it yourself. CLS supports you in the whole
process! Our certified installers will then produce a document certifying the installation compliance and which will be required by the Regulatory Authorities.
It is difficult to give a straight-forward answer as it depends on several parameters to be combined: sunshine duration, emission type, emission period, etc. You will need to periodically look at LED 1 and the flash color. If the flash produces an orange or red light, you need to recharge your battery using the USB port. The average default battery life observed is approximately one month.
